Our field is undergoing a profound paradigm shift. For decades, the central nervous system was viewed as an immunologically privileged organ, isolated from the body's protective systems. Academic Biography & Scope

Prof. Clara Sterling is a pioneer in microglia-mediated synaptic pruning and target-driven neuroimmunotherapy. Over the past twenty years, her research group has decoded how glial cells guide axonal pathfinding and synaptic stability. Her keynote lecture at GCNR 2027 will address therapeutic microglia modulation as a tool for synaptic rebuilding in progressive degenerative diseases.
