Common Queries

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I claim CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits for attending?

GCNR 2027 is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide European CME credits (ECMEC). These credits are mutually recognised by the American Medical Association (AMA) and national European boards. Individual certificates of attendance indicating total credit hours will be emailed to all delegates within 10 business days of the closing ceremony.

Are single-day passes or virtual streaming options available?

To maximise deep clinical collaborations and practical learning workshops, GCNR 2027 is designed as an immersive, fully in-person scientific event. We do not offer single-day or virtual-only registration packages. However, all registered delegates gain full access to the digital congress portal containing high-definition on-demand video recordings of all keynotes and symposia for 90 days following the congress.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations submitted in writing via email before July 15, 2027 are eligible for a 100% refund (less a €50 administrative processing fee). Cancellations received between July 16 and September 1, 2027 are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds are possible after September 1, 2027. However, you may transfer your registration to a credentialed colleague at no additional cost until October 1, 2027, by contacting the secretariat.

Are travel grants available for researchers from low-to-middle income countries (LMICs)?

Yes, the GSNR maintains a dedicated Neuro-Restoration Equity Fund. A generous number of competitive travel grants covering economy flights, hotel lodging, and full registration are awarded to outstanding abstract submitters residing in LMICs. Applications must be completed inside the abstract submission portal during draft submission.

What language will the scientific presentations use?

All official scientific communications, keynote lectures, oral slides, and abstract archives are strictly conducted in English. No simultaneous translation services will be provided during GCNR 2027.

Academic Biography & Scope

Prof. Clara Sterling is a pioneer in microglia-mediated synaptic pruning and target-driven neuroimmunotherapy. Over the past twenty years, her research group has decoded how glial cells guide axonal pathfinding and synaptic stability. Her keynote lecture at GCNR 2027 will address therapeutic microglia modulation as a tool for synaptic rebuilding in progressive degenerative diseases.
