Madrid Tourist Transit Pass (Zone A)
In accordance with Madrid municipal guidelines, all GCNR 2027 delegates receive a complimentary Madrid Tourist Travel Card (Zone A) at the registration desk. This pass grants free, unlimited passage on all municipal buses, metro systems, and local light rail lines within the central Zone A network during the entire 4-day congress.

Location Context
Perfectly integrated in Madrid's northeast corridor (Barajas), connected directly to the Adolfo Suárez Airport and Nuevos Ministerios transport junctions via Metro Line 8.
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) is situated just 10 minutes from the IFEMA convention centre. Delegates can take Metro Line 8 directly from the airport terminals to the 'Feria de Madrid' station.
Madrid's high-speed AVE train network terminates at Madrid Atocha and Chamartín. From there, take Metro Line 8 directly to 'Feria de Madrid' station (approx. 20-25 minutes).
Madrid's public transport is world-renowned for efficiency and ecological standards. All registered delegates receive a complimentary Madrid Tourist Travel Card (Zone A) at the registration desk, valid for 4 days of unlimited metro, bus, and light rail travel.

Academic Biography & Scope
Prof. Clara Sterling is a pioneer in microglia-mediated synaptic pruning and target-driven neuroimmunotherapy. Over the past twenty years, her research group has decoded how glial cells guide axonal pathfinding and synaptic stability. Her keynote lecture at GCNR 2027 will address therapeutic microglia modulation as a tool for synaptic rebuilding in progressive degenerative diseases.
